Odoo or Rivetti? It depends.
Odoo is the alternative almost all our customers evaluated before choosing Rivetti. It is a good product, and for many companies it is the right choice. Here is how to work out which of the two is for you.

If a standard installation is enough for you.
If your process looks like that of many other companies, if a standard installation suits you as it is and the way you work is not your advantage, Odoo is a good choice: it arrives quickly, the licence is cheap and the community is enormous. The distributor who told us “out of the ERPs that are out there, I would go with that one for life” was right, for their company.
We say so in person too, because we would rather lose a customer who is not ours than build them something they do not need.
If the process is your advantage.
If the way you buy, stock, ship or certify is what sets you apart, every customisation of a standard product is a compromise, and you pay for it by the hour forever. “Odoo has three hundred tables, we need ten”, an owner told us, and that was what decided it. If you want the agents working inside your flows, without going through an exported spreadsheet, the system has to come out of your work.
